Mr. Ahmed also leads the operation team of the agency to deliver on MIGA’s mandate of mobilizing private finance for development projects in emerging markets and developing economies (EMDEs). Being a Bangladeshi in nationality, Mr. Ahmed was the Country Director of the World Bank in India previously. He is the first Bangladeshi to become the vice president of any organization of World Bank Group.
