Md Shahin Howlader who is known as Shahin Howlader in the media
arena. He was born on February 15, 1989 in a traditional Howladar
family of Borhanuddin Upazila of Bhola district. His father’s name is
Anwar Hossain Howlader who is a successful and honest businessman
and his mother Farida Begum is a housewife. He started journalism at
an early age.He successfully completed his Masters in Accountancy
from Dhaka College and chose journalism as his main profession.
Shahin started journalism with a regional newspaper and was also
involved in weekly, online and national daily newspapers at the
national level. He rushed to the United States from a rural area in
search of information and data only for journalism.
 
Besides, he also traveled to various countries including UAE, Malaysia,
Thailand and India for his professional work. Apart from publishing
various reports of irregularities and corruption in the banking and
insurance sector, he also chooses data journalism in the economic
sector. He published various reports for the development of this
sector. His work is already recognized by several organizations. He
received honors at home and abroad for his special contribution to
economic journalism.
 
Shahin Howlader is currently working as a Senior Reporter for Time TV, the first Bangladeshi community HD channel in the USA.He worked at the Business Post, a reputed English daily in Bangladesh.He is a member of The National Press Club of Washington, He is also permanent member of Dhaka Reporters Unity (DRU) and Dhaka
Journalists Union (DUJ), which is a largest organization of professional
journalists.He is also associated with various social, cultural and
regional journalistic organizations. Shahin Hawlader and his wife
Maryam are blessed with one child.
